Around 11:15 this morning, the Suntrust Bank located at 2201 E 3rd Street was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.
A black male wearing a grey hooded sweat shirt and glasses entered the bank and passed the teller a note stating that he had a gun. The suspect was able to leave the bank in an undetermined direction of travel.
No one was injured in the robbery.

The compliance of the teller is surprising since all of the tellers are behind bulletproof plastic.

S.O.P. is to give up the money.... but again. as I ALWAYS SAY why do they refuse to put an Armed Guard at bank that is ALWAYS getting robbed. Its b/c its cheaper to get robbed than provide security for your employees and customers.
