At 9:58 this morning, the Regions Bank located at 3614 Tennessee Avenue was robbed. Responding officers in the area were able to apprehend the suspect not far from the location of incident. He was identified as 46-year-old Jerome Ransom. Ransom is also the suspect identified in yesterday’s robbery.
According to officers on the scene, no one was injured. It has not yet been determined how much was taken in today’s robbery. Yesterday’s cash amount was more than $1400.
Chattanooga Police Investigators will work with federal officials in prosecuting Ransom. As of right now, he faces at least 2 counts of aggravated robbery. Other charges will follow the investigation.
