Cole N. Howard was arrested Sunday by Chattanooga Police Property Crimes Investigators following and investigation of an attempted robbery just two days before at 903 Beason Drive .
According to the victim, Raymond Burns, he was dropping off his friend Kimberly Partin and her boyfriend when he was jumped from behind by Howard. Although Burns was physically able to get away from Howard, Howard continued his assault against Howard’s car. Burns drove into a dead end street while attempting to get away.
Burns stated that Howard threw ceramic tiles through his windshield and that he and Partin were showered by the broken glass. Burns suffered a minor injury in the attack but Partin wasn’t injured. Howard was found and arrested for attempted robbery, 2 counts of aggravated robbery and vandalism over 500.
