Last night around 5:00 pm Chattanooga Police responded to 4796 Forest Wood Ln. on a reported shooting, upon arrival a witness stated the victim had left in a green Ford Mustang and the suspect James Jordan had fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Just a few minutes’ later police received a call that the victim Kevin Carson 25 had arrived at Memorial North Park Hospital .
Carson had been shot in both arms and twice in the face.
Carson told police that James Jordan had shot him. While officers were still on the scene at Forest Wood Ln a witness pointed out James Jordan who was a passenger in a vehicle that was riding by. Police officers stopped the vehicle and took Jordan into custody; he was positively identified as the subject who was involved in the altercation that led to 3 to 5 gunshots being fired. Jordan admitted to shooting Carson and stated it was an argument over owed money that led to the shooting.
Carson was then transferred to Erlanger Hospital where he is stable condition.
James Jordan has been charged with Attempted 1st degree Murder and Aggravated Assault.
He is currently in the Hamilton County Jail.

I used to live at that address! The neighborhood had continued its downward trend, sad to say.

I didn't live very far away. Lived up in Eastwood Acres. Used to run up and down Eldridge.
