I, (actually a party of four) went there Friday night. Needless to say, not very good food, Steaks were very tough, even the re-cooked one which added 45 more minutes to our dismay, the ribs were like the pre-cooked, pre-packed heat and serve from Bi-Lo, the sides were no more than a teaspoon size. But my main gripe was the added surcharge of an entertainment fee to the already over-priced cost of the meal. The entertainment was the servers attempting to sing cover songs of has been groups from the 50's to the 70's. Now, it gets better - when we were handed our ticket from the waiter, we were told the entertianment fee doesn't include his tip. Wait, so what is this 'entertianment fee' for, really? For his trying to sing Elvis? or for the joke at the end of the meal? I mean, I am NOT tipping twice for a dinner for four that cost me well over a hundred dollars.

For an entity to be so closely associated with an identity of a city... "Chattanooga? Oh, you know Chattanooga... as in 'Chattanooga Choo-Choo."
The Choo-Choo is an absolute embarrassment to the City of Chattanooga.
Kinsey should be embarrassed for the reviews his hotel gets... an absolute shit hole it must be.

The obvious solution is to divert millions in cash from the Fire and Police Pension Fund to a "Stimulate the Choo-Choo" program.
That should fix things.

You talkin' about the restaurant, or his performance as mayor?

The food has never been over the top, unless you are talking about the fried shrimp. Huge gulf shrimp fried to golden brown EVERY TIME. A couple of the cooks were of shady character to say the least. I have no idea if they are still there. Years ago they had a good group of singers there, but I'm sure most if not all are gone away. If Alan is still running the place I'm sure he is doing just enough to keep the place afloat (not a food service manager)
The 18% is clearly printed on several locations in the restaurant including the menu. It's right there you just have to look folks

If great fried shrimp is what you crave, go to Nikkies, save a large pile of money and probably get better shrimp.

As well they should be, and there is no "entertainment fee".
