Chattanooga Police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside of the Plasma Services Center on Rossville Blvd tonight. The incident happened around 7:45 after witnesses said two men had an argument that erupted into gunfire.
One man is in custody while the victim, Tristan Cooper was taken to Erlanger with non-life threatening injuries. He was treated for a flesh wound to the leg and back before being interviewed by investigators.
A suspect in the shooting was taken into custody but has not yet been charged. Investigators are interviewing the involved parties and more information on the incident will be available tomorrow.

Chattanooga Police have identified the suspect in a shooting last night at the Plasma Services Center located at 3815 Rossville Blvd. 18-year-old Gerald Nelson was arrested for aggravated assault against 26-year-old Tristan Cooper following an argument between the two men over a woman that both men were dating.
Nelson and Cooper had just finished donating plasma at the time that the argument began in front of Plasma Services. Nelson told police that he thought Cooper had a gun and shot him when he says Cooper reach into his pocket.
Cooper was treated and released from Erlanger Hospital for minor wounds to his right thigh and lower back. No one else was injured in the incident.

have you ever seen some of the clientele in that part of town? i mean it is not like this place is located on signal mountain. nothing is surprising anymore.

have you ever seen some of the clientele in that part of town? i mean it is not like this place is located on signal mountain. nothing is surprising anymore. Some of us look like "regular" folks. ;D
