A bomb threat made at 1 East 11th Street tonight has resulted in the arrest of two Patten Towers residents. Chattanooga Police arrested Dominique Smith and Glenda Curtis after the phone number used to call in the threat, was traced back to them.
Residents of the towers were evacuated while officers located the suspects and determined whether or not the call was real. Smith and Curtis admitted that the call was a prank but bomb techs checked the building as a precaution before allowing residents back in.
Smith and Curtis were charged for making terroristic threats, abuse of 911 and criminal conspiracy. It is not known what prompted them to make the call.
