I didn't list them because there are so many and most of them wouldn't get any votes anyway. Thats what the 'other' vote is for.

The same attitude of the major media, which becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. The papers/TV/etc. cover a Republican or Democratic nobody, and after a while they are all of a sudden a somebody (who heard of Mitt Romney before talks began about him running for president, seriously, outside of his home state?). But the papers/TV/etc. don't talk about a Libertarian nobody, and guess what? He remains a nobody! Surprise, surprise, surprise... Unless of course he's a kook, like a Perot or Nader, and then coverage is to ridicule them (and by way of association make any other third parties look like kooks).

I wouldn't vote for any of those clowns. Wake me up when Fred Thompson joins the race.

No official Libertarian, Reform or Green candidates yet? The Libertarian Party doesn't hold its convention until July of 2008. You probably won't hear from any of their candidates for the nomination until October of this year.

I personally wouldn't vote for the vast majority of any of the party's candidates, but most especially Libertarian or Green. For some odd reason, they tend to ignore the fact that this is the 21st Century and that we live in the US. Which is why I would never vote for Nader, as he completely disregarded the fact that Congress exists in the 2000 election, as per one of his interviews during Election Night that year. I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was basically that he wouldn't do or allow something to happen if he were President and it was something that the President has little control over and whose power lies with Congress. Totally blew my mind that someone running for President was that politically naive. Scared me, too.

Not sure about the President, but much of what the Congress does isn't constitutional, and the Libertarians would like to eliminate it.

Heck! I guess you haven't been paying attention to the news lately, 'eh? Bush is constantly pushing stuff that he's not supposed to do, and circumventing congress.. Maybe you should look in the Attorney General firings thread... And have ya heard of habeas corpus?... Bush scares me a lot more than Nader... I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was basically that he wouldn't do or allow something to happen if he were President and it was something that the President has little control over and whose power lies with Congress. Ummm.... Bush had the right to do that, whether it was the right thing to do or not.
Why not get upset at Clinton who fired all the attorneys, BTW?
It's interesting to see that whacko Pelosi. A while back, she was calling for one of these attorneys to be fired because she was incompetent. Now that Bush fired her, Pelosi is calling this woman one of the most qualified attorneys in the field.

This was over her prosecution of Duke Cunningham, I believe. She thought she might be stalling.
