Chattanooga: Driver runs into Baylor School guard shack
By: Kelli Gauthier & Yolanda Putman A Walden Security employee was working at the Baylor School guard shack when a Chevrolet van ran a red light, struck another vehicle and ran into the building, law enforcement officials said. “She noticed the car and had to dive out of the door,” said Mac Moore, tactical service chief with the Chattanooga Fire Department. The incident occurred about 5 p.m. Wednesday when the driver lost control of her vehicle, Baylor spokeswoman Barbara Kennedy said. The security officer was still on the scene when police arrived. She wiped her forehead as she talked to other security officers and did not want to be identified. Obviously, a longer yellow light would have prevented this crash. If running a red light were legalized, this never would have happened. And why did the guard not want to be identified? We have a right to know everything about everything 'cause the Bible says so!
And even more obviously, a cover-up going on here.
Another example of big brother's excessive intrusion into our personal lives and more violations the 4th and 5th Amendments by the government.

I used to work out there, in the guard shack, HOW the hell do you "loose control" of your vehicle.
apparently like every a$$hat I saw out there 15 years ago, they STILL apparently speed down that hill.....and those speed bumps dont matter if your going fast enough....

As a Baylor alumnus, I take exception to the term, "Guard Shack." There are no shacks at Baylor. Used to be along the Old Baylor road, but those are long gone. One of these was the home of a very friendly girl well known to dorm boys. When the practice for the Armed Forces Day parade took place, the dorm boys who were officers called "eyes left" when we passed her house. But I digress.
Shacks are tacky. Guard Station, Guard House, Guard Compound, but no "shack," please.

You know, that building probably cost more than most folk's houses.
But, as long as there's a guard in it, it'll always be a "shack".
