Police have few leads following an early Sunday morning shooting incident at Highway 153 and Shepherd Road . 19-year-old Stephen Hill and 20-year-old Rico Council told police that they were riding with two friends to get something to eat when they heard several loud pops. Moments later, both men realized they’d been shot. Hill was struck in the right arm and right leg. Council was struck in the jaw.
The two men were taken to Parkridge East Hospital but were later transported to Erlanger. Witnesses to the incident stated that a gold-colored Suburban or Tahoe was believed to be the suspect vehicle and was observed exiting off Shepherd Road shortly after the shots were fired. No suspects were identified.
Two other men in the vehicle, Monty Mitchell and Michael Ford, were not injured. Hill and Council’s injuries were believed to be life threatening.
As details become available, more information will be released.

I wish I could get a better view of this sign. It says "Shepherd Community - A Happy Place To Live".
