The Tennessee House Agriculture Committee on Wednesday approved the passage of HB 1851, the bill that prohibits smoking in many public workplaces. “Although we are happy to see that the health of many working Tennesseans will be protected, we will continue to advocate for all Tennesseans to be under that same protection,” said Smoke-Free Tennessee Campaign Director Chastity Mitchell. “It is our firm position that no one – no matter where you work – should have to choose between a paycheck and your health.” As passed, the bill excludes bars with limited access to persons 21 and older at all times, private clubs and businesses with three or fewer employees. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_108181.asp

It is my position that if you don't smoke or want to be around smokers, work somewhere else. (This coming from someone who quit 9 months, two weeks and 12 hours ago.)
