News announced a change in policy concerning teens. The new "policy" is for 8 pm & later. Is there any problem associated with attending earlier showings. Why the new policy ?

the kid crowd 14 to 17 used to hang out there, running in and out of the movies making all kinds of noise. i guess the rave got tired of babysitting.
i was out there last night for star trek and NO KIDS were in sight. my god was it a different world from the last time i was there. no hell raising, no loud crowds, nothing. adults leaving a theater talking about the movie. it was extremely nice.
kudos to The Rave for implementing this policy. im sure it will help the business.

What is the policy?
I went to the Rave for the first time last night to see Star Trek too (I don't guess we were there at the same time though because of your time stamp on your post---I was there for the 7:30 showing)
I too didn't see any teens and it was one of the few times I have been to a movie in a long time where no one was talking during the movie. I was mucho impressed.

A few strokes of consequences can go a long way.

Augie, I usual go to the manintees and found no many teens there but school is in season now. Count on the kids flooding the rave during the day now.
IF you go to the 10-17 near Hamilton Place count on it being flooded with teenagers at all times of day.

Carmike behind Lows is by far the best theater if you dont like kids ruining your flicks. Went last night to see Star Trek ( meh btw! ) and the only lids there left about ten minutes into the movie.
They also have one dollar coke, and popcorn combos on Tuesdays! :yay:

We went there for the first time a few months ago. Took the grandkids to a children's movie. The price is right and it's small enough to keep small children calmed down. I hate going to a movie with rowdy teenagers. We usually hit the matinees.
