www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/10/AR2007071001414.htmlRemember all the planted "Chattanooga Story" puff pieces the City arranged for starting in the mid-80's? "We used to be polluted but we're clean as a whistle now." "Smokestacks gone; Environmental City now." "Celebrate the Riverfront in America's Best Mid-Sized City." How come, until now, news & information about the highly infectous running sewers we call rivers, streams & creeks never made the orchestrated news about our city? My theory: the City has been co-mingling monies supposedly dedicated to sewage, waste water & storm water runoff with general funds & has lost the money that would have paid for proper sanitary solutions a long time ago.
