Mayor Ron Littlefield on Friday asked a new 49-member homeless committee to finish its work by the end of September. The mayor said to the large group that was convened at a conference room at City Hall, "This is a very ambitious schedule, but let's get moving." He is asking the group to update the 80-page Blueprint To End Chronic Homelessness in the Chattanooga Region in 10 Years. It was compiled in 2003. Mayor Littlefield called it "a great document." But he said, "All plans need updates from time to time. I think it needs just more specifics." www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_110075.asp
