ProBoard structures things a bit differently - it costs $7.00 per 50,000 page views per month (with no page view rollover).
The former forum was averaging around 8,900 page views per day, working out to a 30 day average of 267,000 pv's, or an expected cost of around $35.00 per month (rounded down).
I've already paid the first $7.00 for this month as we get things rolling.

Why thank you.
It's old footage of myself, of course, but I'll tell you my secret:
The Goatee'...was Fake.

By the way, we've already burned through the first seven bucks, but unless someone really, really dislikes the Google Ad at the top of the screen, I don't really see any pressing need to stay ad-free. If you want to donate, though, click here.

If it can be free w/ ads.......I don't mind the ads......Hardly even give 'em a second look. It'd be worth it not having anyone need to pay for it. ~J

PayPal works to my public email - garypoole@yahoo.com - but I'm really of the mind that a single Google Ad bar at the top (the one at the bottom is actually mine, nor theirs) isn't too bad. Of course, when I went to check how many credits we had, I was informed we had 105. So, it's back to ad-free for a while.

How do we see how many credits are on file, or is that an administrator-only function?

I use Mozilla. I just click "Hide the Ad" and we're ad free for Free.

Are there a lot of people that mind the ads that much? If no one has to give in anything, even better, no?

Ads? What ads? I'm looking for the messages, ads don't even register as my eyes sweep by them.
