I think the biggest problem was the disrespect Joe showed the president when he interrupted him. Joe Wilson is a D-bag just like Kanye...

How could he have lied, when there was no bill? If he had signed a bill that allowed illegals health care then he would have been a liar. The POTUS was laying out the plan he wanted. He wasn't referring to any of the 4 or 5 bills that have been floating around as far as I know. He may very well end up being a liar, but what he said in the speech wasn't one.

Doesn't make it ok... but the rules have been changed. And you either play by them or lose. Course the Dem's are playing by their own rules.
Besides Gus, were you not aware that Wilson was just being racist. Let's not talk about what was, or what will be in the bill that no one can quite explain yet, but let's rather focus on the racist tendencies of the minority party. Jimmy Carter will tell ya...

Point out the lies over and over and they're ignored...
So, Joe got everyone's attention.
It worked.
The lies were exposed.
And everyone knows that exposing lies is racist.

Why do I think that if it had been Bush that was interrupted, that would be the only thing you would focus on... And you'd all be calling Joe a jackass, instead of praising him...

I seem to remember a whole slew of demoncrats who stood up in the middle of a preidential address to the Congress and turned their backs on the President...seemed a bit, oh, I don't know, uh, disruptive, maybe?

George W. Bush was called a liar on the floor of congress and that was read into the congressional record. He just wasn't there when it occurred. He was also booed and jeered. He was probably called a liar to but it wasn't picked up by a mic. George W. Bush was not given a free pass and was probably treated more poorly than President Obama has been treated so far. George W. Bush was portrayed as the Joker long before President Obama was.
None of this is acceptable. Congressman Wilson apologized for his incivility to the president and the apology was accepted. There is nothing left to say.

White House admits Obama lied! Totally objective conclusions of an Idaho evangelist. They rejected using SAVE as the mechanism. The Senate draft sets up a verification system using Social Security data and Homeland Security Department files. The bill would impose penalties for fraud and identity theft. HR3200 reads: "Nothing in this subtitle shall allow federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States." Obama declared: "The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally." He didn't specify the Senate bill or HR3200.

This whole things makes me wonder how our legislators would hold up in a setting like the British have?
Slinging insults directly at each other during sessions, and on camera too ...face to face instead of waging verbal attacks through the media.
We've got a bunch of sissies up in DC. /sarcasm

I'm going to predict right now: Obama will be thr first President to live outside the United States once his term concludes.
Illegals are going to get medical care; they've been proving it for a dozen years or more, now. It's inevitable, and dovetails nicely with democrat plans to relive the sixties by finding more and better ways for our resident burglars to vote.
For Them.

Most companies your but is fired for talking down the Man..I'm glad he's from SC. Not Tennessee but it's still early we have that literal mental midget Corker ,Wamp and Alexander I sure they're bound to have foot in the mouth diease soon...I wonder if Corker is leading the charge to fix up the Potomic River front like he did so well with the Nooga riverfront.

I know it's hard to be humble when you've got the likes of Jimmy Carter batting for you; about the only two thing I agree with Obama on are that Carter doesn't speak for the White House, and Kanye West's a jackass.

Okay, who do you think his boss is? He doesn't work for the president. It is his job, and the rest of congress, to oversee the president. Granted what he did was extremely rude and common decency begs that he not interrupt the presidents speech by yelling out, "You lie," but the president is not his boss. The president can not fire him. He was elected by the people of South Carolina and barring him committing a felony only the people of South Carolina can fire him.

In Alabama, almost 90% is controlled by just one company. Without competition, the price of insurance goes up and the quality goes down...an additional step we can take to keep insurance companies honest is by making a not-for-profit public option available in the insurance exchange..."
-- President Barack Obama, September 9What B. Hussien Obama neglects to mention is that in the state of AL 57% of workers are covered under self insured plans. This is where the employer is acting as the insurance companay and pays out of pocket for medical care. There is no evil Cigna or United Health involved. It's just the employer, and some cases the TPA that administers the plan, being the insurance company. Was his failure to mention this a deliberate attempt to decieve the American public or just not having all of his facts straight before he started speaking?

We don't all know any such a thing. I personally think Wilson was correct and that B. Hussien Obama was being deceptive. EVERY amendment that specifically excluded illegal immigrants was voted down. EVERY single one of them. If those in this country illegally were never going to be able to access our healthcare system, except for life threatening emergencies, why was language to specifically exclude them not added to the proposed bill?
It makes B. Hussien Obama a deceiver, not necessarily a liar. His numbers were WAY off. Please explain to me how 90% of those insured in the state of AL could possibly be covered by 1 insurance company when 57% of those insured in the state of AL are covered by companies that self insure? I really want to see that mathmatic calculation.

So was B. Hussien Obama lying when he made those claims? Or just playing fast and loose with the true FACTS? Either way he was not being upfront and honest. Maybe not a liar but certainly dishonest about the FACTS.
