Yes, widespread grasping.
Stunning that in a city with the highest death rate of school age children in the U.S., one school with a 46% graduation rate is battling a big pregnancy issue.

So you imply it's our Great Presidents fault. At least he didn't allow 3,000 people get killed on American soil on his watch.

If you're trying to imply it was Bush's fault for the attacks,I think that has been attributed to Clinton, not Bush for falling to act on intel. As far as the comment"Change you can believe in" ...you do know that your hero used to be king of Chicagoland "politics", don't you? The very place this school is located...

Oh, I don't know. He claims he's going to make America a better place to live, but this is a fine example of just how well he did in Chicago. But wait, you say, how could he have kept these kids on the straight and narrow? Probably the same way he's going to keep the rest of the country on the straight and narrow. So many people think he's the answer to all of the world's problems. News flash, he's not.

Gangs. Rap music. Rampant sexualization of young females by the media. Lack of parental involvement. Lack of established mentoring efforts. Increase of "grandfamilies" Peer pressure.
All these have a lot more to do with the South Side Chicago teen pregnancy crisis than Barack Obama. Get a clue.

Excuse me? I was merely relating how, despite everyone's expectations, Obama is not going to solve the country's problems just because he's president, no more than he solved Chicago's problems just because he represented them in the state senate. Not sure how that could be considered out of context.

I guess I'm not everyone - I just see another politician. I guess I should think him the Messiah like the others here and I'd have read your intended context.
I can see blaming Bill Clinton or a Kennedy for this problem, but not ol' Barry

"Get a clue." More clued in than you'll ever be. Puh-leeze. Far superior cops than YOU have bled out in the streets of Chicago. Feel free to have your Chief call our Chief and arrange a little officer exchange ... West Englewood is looking forward to your visit.

I'll bet being knocked up and female is not the only thing they have in common. Thanks to LBJ and his failed War on Poverty. I can hear Elvis singing "In the Ghetto" now.
