Mostly same ol'. Its always hot, there are always drunks, etc. Prices weren't too bad, in general. Wife's meal was a tad pricey ($10 for curry chicken plate from the Carribean stall) but good, and not something you find here everyday. $4 and $5 turkey legs were to be found, and 2 for $4 and 2 for $5 16oz Buds weren't uncommon. The band at the hall was playing rock and I didn't pay much attention. The dixieland horn band up by the railroad trestle, while I don't think they were exceptionally good, were exceptionally energetic, which more than made up for it, especially considering how hot it was. They poured quite a bit of energy into the show, and had a pretty good crowd.

I heard they loaded the headline act dude on an out of state child support warrant as soon as he got done (And got paid!)
Styles didn't mention it today, so it must not have happened.

Styles didn't mention it today, so it must not have happened. It's strange how your perception of people changes over time. I used to hate Quake about 15 years ago when it was Dr. B, Jerry, and him. Now he seems like the best part of the show. I started listening to Chattanooga talk radio after hearing Jeff Styles one morning. He reminded me a lot of Chris in the Morning from the TV show Northern Exposure. He seems as far away from that character these days as the distance from Cicily, Alaska to Chattanooga Tennessee.

Strange, that's about the time I cut off my ears like Van Gogh.
