Sitting at a restaurant table in Munich in the summer of 1932, Hitler designed the prototype for what would become the immensely successful Beetle design for Volkswagen. What he didn't know was that one day some asshole in america would cut the springs out of it, slam it to the ground and ride around in the rust bucket smoking hash and listening to Led Zeppelin.

CHEAP.
$5k cash firm. 1962 Volkswagen bug I-4, aircooled, 240k miles runs like a top, good looker, good title. Car has an easy 200,000 miles left in it before any repairs will be needed. These cars have almost never died before the 350,000 mark and I personally guarantee it to be fact.
The Bug is the most sought after car of the 1st gen VW line. A reliable 2 dr sports coupe with a life expectancy of 350k to 450k miles. VERY sought after, and always easy to sell one in good shape.
Cons- crack in windshield, bolster wear on seat that is covered with a nice leather seat cover, couple dings on the pass rear quarter, paint could use some touching up.
NO major problems. Very strong runner, I have 2 Bugs and a stripped parts car so I have PLENTY of parts to help you if you ever need anything (which you won't).

Wrong. That's a '56 or '57. Never trust a used car salesman.

Actual sign on used car seen in Alabama:
For Sell
Someone apprently corrected the owner. The sign later changed to:
4 Sail
*sigh*
