I don't have any tattoos myself but, I know a lot of people on this board do. I was wondering if this could be a post of close ups of people's tatts and what they mean.

Photo by Bob Edens, hand of FunGrrrlMine is a custom (girly) Celtic design that I commissioned from an artist in California. I didn't want the same piece of ink as someone else, I wanted something personal and different.

My first one on my lower left leg because I like frogs this one is on my back left shoulder the red feather symbolizes my son, the blue feather symobolizes my daughter and the middle feather symbolizes me this is on my right ankle I drew this one and got it because I like the Phantom of the Opera this is on my right arm because I still like frogs this one is on my lower back, it's a Triquetra I got this because at the time, my favorite tv show was Charmed and this is a variance of the symbol on the book of Shadows. Evenually, I want to get it expanded with some tribal stuff underneath it because the tattoo person put it too high on my back instead of my waistline my first frog tattoo was done at Ink Expressions, the rest were all done at Something Wicked

I only have one, and it took me more than 40 years to get it. My oldest brother, Laine, passed away of a heart attack a few years back. He was in the Navy during Vietnam and had several tattoos, but there was one I really liked. He had a black panther crawling up his arm. Not having a photo of the actual tattoo, I had to search for a long time to find one exactly like his. I finally did, and had it put on my right shoulder. I also had the artist put Laine's initials on the tat as a memorial to him.
