I am offering a very large wild raccoon of indeterminate gender to anyone at no charge. You trap it, you keep it. Only non-lethal, humane traps allowed. What happens after removal from my property is between you and the raccoon.
This raccoon enjoys eating bird seed and breaking bird feeders. As noted, this is a large raccoon, and very smart. No guarantees made in regard to the animal's age, sex, health, disposition. I accept no liability for physical injury or psychological trauma incurred in trapping the raccoon.

Try peanut butter in a humane trap.

Strega would be happy to go after said raccoon and any neighborhood feline while he's at it.

This raccoon has chased off three cats already. I borrowed one from a friend, but sadly we're gonna need a bigger trap.

Cats being smaller are easier to scare off than, say, a doberman pinscher with a high prey drive.

I have a lot of respect for Strega and his hunting prowess but there is no way I'd let one of my dogs, regardless of size, square off against a raccoon without the backing of a pack. Raccoons are not only vicious and powerful little animals, they are also very wily. Strega would probably win the face off but I'm afraid not without some injury.

True. Lets get a pack of beagles... they LIVE for that kind of thing. Or a couple mountain curs.
