We stayed at a hotel in Rock Port MO last night, just a little north of t Joe, and it seems to have been a bank at some point in the past. When we came up, we were instructed to pull through the drive through. There was a phone in the drawer, and when we dialed it, the manager appeared in the window, but with curtains behind so it was just a silhouette. Twilight Zone stuff!

The surreal stuff about the trip was pretty memorable.

Saskatchewan was more sucky than surreal.

LOL! I was wondering about that "Drive through Hotel" - sort of like, if you don't get out of your car, isn't that just spending the night in a parking lot?

She passed the keys out through the drawer in the drive through window. And extra towels.
We were forced to play skeeball at Mukluk Land in Tok. That was odd. I was afraid of what would happen to the loser, so I applied all my skills and won. We barely escaped. (We really were forced to play skeeball by this friendly old woman who was VERY insistent.)
