Had the opportunity to attend this event yesterday and it was entertaining as well as educational. Got some good pics, but thought I would share the pics of the bird man first. First three were hawks, couldn't hear what type because of some rude cow standing next to me yelling at her kids. The last one is a desert falcon. I heard that one because when the bird first flew in, it was in between me and cow + kids and they took off screaming bloody murder. Feeling and hearing the air of that animal coming by was incredible. I have more pics of the birds, plus some of the Native American dances I'll try to get up later.

Does Chippa still bring Thunder (his bison)? Last time I saw Thunder he was basically an 800 pound puppy. I'll tell you, 800 pounds is a LOT to be frolicing playfully!

That's bullshit...you didn't get the part where he bites the bird's head off and sprinkles the blood all over himself while chanting 'death to the palefaces.'
Did they play 'Indian Outlaw'?

Wrong pow-wow. That's the Father's Day one you're thinking of.
Nope... Cherokee Nation by Paul Revere & The Raiders
Yes, he was there. Chippa even took him for a ride around the pen.
