Wonder what the folks at CopBlock or Duke would have done to resolve this issue? Besides file a complaint against the Police for delaying their 6 inch BS on wheat.

First, I'm surprised at the restraint shown from the guys in line. I wouldn't have been that calm if someone was trying to whoop my ass. Second, I think I'd be finding a new friend. No way I'm gonna let my drinking buddy hit me. Third, TASER!!

The cop had a toy he had been lugging around for a while. He was afraid that if that Taser was not deployed immediately on the end of his command, the suspect just might comply and justification for a Taser use would be lost.

Under the circumstances it appeared to me that the police officer responded with immediate and appropriate force and I hope he pocketed the drunks $100. He earned it.

Justin is advocating theft by an authority figure and vigilante justice; cop, judge, jury and executioner based on emotion

Since our justice system doesn't work, mostly due to lawyers who misuse the system...
But, the cop acted with appropriate force to deal with the situation. The inJustice system will deal (or not deal) the the criminal in court.

The inJustice system will deal (or not deal) the the criminal in court. Over time I have never received a dismissal sua sponte by the court. During that same period, there have been many dismissals due to illegal activities by the cops and a few dismissals for unlawful activity by the courts.

Which pretty much proves my point.
People are sick of it.
Except the criminals.

I made you point that lawyers were the problem?
Lawyers are the problem for the cops breaking the laws that govern their actions because the unlawful activity was pointed out in a public setting [trial]?

Justin is advocating theft by an authority figure and vigilante justice; cop, judge, jury and executioner based on emotion What I saw was a very belligerent man who had already displayed an eagerness to engage in fisticuffs told once to get on the ground by a police officer who had every right to demand the man to get on the ground. When he didn't obey that lawful order the police officer put him on the ground with the taser in order to protect himself from the young man's eagerness to use his fists. Since the man had offered the $100 to anyone who could beat him I think the officer earned the money. Vigilante justice? No. The belligerent man was not punished with the taser, only temporarily disabled so that he could safely be taken into custody. He and the officer may have both been injured, along with one of the bystanders had he been physically restrained so he could be taken into custody. The actions taken by the officer was the safest way to accomplish taking him into custody available at the moment. Oh, and in case you didn't notice, his buddy pocketed the $100.
