I entered my favorite piece of glass in an art contest. It wasn't for sale, but I was hoping to get some business off of it. It was packed improperly for its return and got broken in shipment. Good news is, I got first place.
I also lost about $2000 of display with a sudden 40 MPG gust of wind. Good news is, I'm insured, and I potentially got a huge job working on a new church. That should take about six months.
However, one of our lines has been discontinued. I can compete with Chinese free market work because I do custom stuff, but glass jewelry like we make can now be purchased from China for about a third of what it costs us for materials. Good news is, I was contacted by two different companies wanting a regular stream of other stuff.
It's been a bad week and a good week.
Oh, and the government finally found my military records after 3 months of looking. I'm so glad they want to run our medical care.
Oh, and for those of you who know me, check out my new logo. I uploaded it to FaceBook.

I saw it and LIKE it.
I've contemplated getting a window to replace the round one in my attic from you for years, but a) I have too much else to take care of first and b) I have no idea how to set it in there.
Eventually though, I hope to be able to do that.

I can set it in there for you, but a) I will have to see it before I make it and b) will have to wait until the second time I'm there to actually do it, so it would be a long process.

Heh, it's been years I've thought it would be nice. The existing window style is no longer available on the market.

Yep that would be a two trip job for Gus. But I bet it would be just what you wanted.

I have some more pressing jobs to take care of first, but it's on my list of wishes.
