Today I discovered snow cream! The rough recipe for the base was:
8 c snow 1 can sweetened, condensed milk vanilla
Mix the condensed milk and the snow together till smooth, add a bit of vanilla and mix.
I added cocoa powder to mine and oh my gods is it good!
What's your favorite?

He he. my wife, who is from up north originally, had never heard of Snow Cream until she moved down south, and just doesn't "get it". Maybe the snow is dirtier up there.
If you don't have the condensed milk, you can reduce regular milk with some sugar in a sauce pan. Just cool it off before using it. Adding blended fruit is also nice. My grandmother used to freeze strawberries and I'd eat them, still frozen, with milk poured on top. Snow cream with strawberries isn't much different.

I used sweetened condensed milk, 1 carton of heavy cream, about 3 tbs vanilla & 10-12 c. snow. The heavy cream really adds to it, I think.

That tastes more awesome if you add some fruits to it , specially if they are the same flavored ones .
