No Grid, in this case it looks like Assistant Principal Rodriguez forgot what country he was in and the school system is remedying the situation.
Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez asked two of them to remove their American flag bandannas, one of their parents told FoxNews.com. The boys complied, but were asked to accompany Rodriguez to the principal's office.
In a statement released Thursday, Morgan Hill Unified School District Superintendent Wesley Smith characterized the incident as "extremely unfortunate" and said the matter is under investigation.
"The Morgan Hill Unified School District does not prohibit nor do we discourage wearing patriotic clothing," Smith's statement read. "The incident on May 5 at Live Oak High School is extremely unfortunate. While campus safety is our primary concern and administrators made decisions yesterday in an attempt to ensure campus safety, students should not, and will not, be disciplined for wearing patriotic clothing. This matter is under investigation and appropriate action will be taken."

My bad, but then I come from a broken home and don't know any better... What happened? Did a wall fall down or something?

Influenced by it, anyway. Of course, you are jumping on the (false) Tea Party = Racist bandwagon. What I'm talking about is how teachers aren't supposed to correct grammar on written reports because the kids use AAVE (ebonics, to some). How telling kids to pull up their pants is somehow squashing their cultural identity. How it is ok to have groups and special contests for some groups and not others (Black Chamber of Commerce, Miss Black America, etc), all in the name of "diversity".
