From an NYT story that profiled the TN-03 race as an example: '“I am taking a serious look,” said Weston Wamp, who is pondering a primary challenge to Representative Chuck Fleischmann, in his first term from Tennessee. Mr. Wamp said he was inspired by his father, Zach, who served in the House for many years. “My experience through my dad was seeing the very best of what public service can mean.”' www.nytimes.com/2011/07/05/us/politics/05freshmen.html?_r=3

“My experience through my dad was seeing the very best of what public service can mean.”' Yep. Leave town for Washington in the middle class, and come back a millionaire. The very best indeed!

from the right. I'm currently of the opinion that I will not vote for another wamp for congress. My two cents worth.

He can vote for someone else. I didn't, couldn't, wouldn't vote for Chuck or John in the last election. There are plenty of other people to cast a vote for in the 3rd District. Do you think that just because people are republican that they cannot vote for anyone else? Would you vote for someone that you didn't like, just because of their party?

Or just not vote in that race. There have been several times when I've skipped over a specific race while voting because I couldn't conscionably vote for any candidate running for that office or I didn't care who won. If I'm apathetic about who holds a certain office for a certain term I'm leaving the voting for that race up to those that care.

VOTE LIBERTARIAN. Oh wait you cannot since in TN there are only Rep, Dem or Ind. Or you can do what I do write your own name in. I have gotten votes for congress, Senate, state legislator, and judge.
