Great move, but what does this do to the line-up? Do Prado and Infante split time @ 2nd Base? Or do Prado an Glaus Split time? But regardless the Braves are doing everything they can to send the skipper out with a post season run

Wren is good. I'm impressed.
As for who plays... Good question. With Infante hitting like he is, you just can't bench him. At times he can move to left field and Glaus play 3rd (when a lefty is pitching). And Prado (as long as he's healthy) is not getting benched either - he's our best hitter. Glaus is the odd man out... He's been a liability with his bad knees. Hits into every possible double play and has let a handful of balls get past him at 1st looking like he's too old/slow to reach them... I'm grateful for his work this year, but it looks like he will see much less playing time.

Funny that Lee's 1st game will be against the Cubbies!

I wonder if Zambrano is going to see Lee off at the airport?

I have enjoyed watching Glaus since he came up with the Angels there is something about him that I believe will be very beneficial for the Braves going down the stretch with Chipper out. With Lee over at 1st for the Braves I cant help but be reminded of the ol' Crime Dog Days!!!!!

Glaus was DL'ed yesterday. Soon he is going to go to Gwinnett to play some 3B to see if he still has it.
But anybody who has watched his mobility @ 1B should be pretty convinced that he can NOT play 3B anymore.
He will be recalled to Atlanta when the rosters expand on Sept. 1. He has large Plate apperance bonuses that kick in every time he surpasses an additional 50. If he doesn't play again he's not owed another dime.
If Prado, Infante, & Lee stay healthy there is a very good chance you will never see Glaus play for the Atlanta Braves again.
To his credit he is handling this situation as classy as you can. Many others in his situation, in other organizations, would not handle this so well.
