Is there a difference between An executor of an estate and a personal Representative Of an estate. Specifically, In regards To their powers in occordance with south carolina law.

Goomba, I found this which indicates that "Personal Representative of the Estate" is the new term for "Executor of the Estate."

Each state has it's own particular rules of executorship, so be certain that when dealing with two or more different states you are clear as to the procedures of all you are working/living in.
