Sewage Treatment Plant Operator Given Prison Time Monday, February 06, 2012 A sewage treatment plant operator has been ordered to serve time in federal prison for not operating the facility at Niota, Tn., correctly and for lying to state inspectors about it. Judge Sandy Mattice on Monday morning sentenced Donald Jack Clark to six months in prison and another six months of home confinement with an electronic monitoring device. He must also perform 150 hours of community service. Prosecutor Matthew Morris had argued for a stiffer sentence, saying a message needed to be sent to other sewage plant operators not to endanger the public's health. He said there was no evidence that anyone became ill due to the problems at the Niota plant, but he said the possibility was there. Read more: chattanooganAin't that some sh*t? ;D

I wonder if the prison term will cause him to lose his job?

His public service should be to clean restrooms at Tennessee Rest Areas.

That would be befitting, but probably classified as cruel and unusual.

There is an unconfirmed rumor that Mayor Littlefield intends to hire this guy as his new Chattanooga Ethics Czar.
And, I may back the Mayor on this one.
What better man to analyze the ethics of our city government than one who has been unlawfully dealing with shit for years.
I say we hire him, give him an immediate raise and let him shovel more shit upon us, for money, as a profitable extra job!
(And give him a take-home shit-sucker tank truck, as long as he promises to relocate within the Chattanooga City Limits!)
And, he is already declared as a 'Sole Source!'
