The TFP is robocalling my cell phone daily. I contacted their head of telelmarketing; she said the calls would stop, but they continue. The most annoying part? I'm already a f&*ing subscriber! Is anyone else getting calls from 423-757-6997? And who is responsible for this asinine policy--calling people who are ALREADY customers?

There is a national "Do Not Call" register. Sign up on line and report them. They have to stop or the USA government will handle it for you. No one calls my phone.

you're probably about as popular as I am
There's no way to stop political robocalls or those from firms with which you do business; beware these "giveaways" on the internet that give them access to you and your privacy.

or sign up for every free giveaway you can and use 423-757-6997 as your phone number? [shrug]
seriously, any time you fill out an entry to any contest. The one winner gets picked and the rest of the information is first given to their marketing department then sold.

Some years ago, I had the same problem with TFP marketers. I eventually told them I used to be a suscriber until they spammed my phone continuously.
Here's how I stopped the calls.
The Chattanooga phone book has 2 pages of TFP office numbers. I began calling them nonstop. We discussed the weather, dinner, what the scores of the grandkids' softball games were. I inquired whether they had a window desk or a cubicle. I helped with suggestions what to eat to avoid gas. When they would protest that I was calling the wrong number, that there was a proper number to address marketing issues, I replied those numbers don't work, that since folks there have nothing but time to waste, I intend to help them with that until my calls stop.
One day's work has netted me many years hassle free from TFP.

Many years ago in a place far away we were being bombarded by phone solicitations for the local fishwrap. Finally I picked up and said "Da boss don't like havin' his meetin's interupted, don't call back", and they didn't.

I've been a subscriber for 30 yrs and I used to get those calls. I guess they don't know my cell phone number. I don't even know my cell phone number. Another good way is to ask them "Whatcha wearin'? are you nekked?

I get calls from them constantly but it/they hang up after a couple of rings. I'm registered with the do not call list and have reported them once already.

noticed in today;'s classifieds they're hiring these positions; suppose they had mass resignations from frustration?

Working as a phone solicitor (many, many years ago) helped put me through what college I could stand. It was very different 40 years ago, no computers to dial for you- and I do mean dial, as in rotory phones.
