*** from this article ***"It's all the passenger side of the vehicle. None of them are the driver's side of the vehicle and they're all flat," he says. He spent the better part of his day changing flats. At one business near Memorial Hospital, he says multiple cars were hit. "We arrived there at 2 o'clock and when arrived there, there was about 10 tire changes needed to be done there." In the same lot where Jones parked, a Buick had two flat tires. "It looks like it's just an itty-bitty ice pick," says Gilreath. OK both are busy roads without bike lanes. could it be someone "against" bikes? if all the flats are on the passenger side that means the nails or whatever were put on the right edge of the road. I bet people that tend to drive close to the right were "Hit" but people that tended to stay in the middle were not. Who always stays far to the right? bikes and scooters. it would be scary to ride a bike on dodds but not so much on the boulevard. thoughts??

The ones on Dodds and Rossville you could be right. I'd hate to think it, but you could be right. The stuff downtown though? That sounds malicious and hands on.

A lot of the people said they drove down either rossvile or dodds to get downtown. if you only pick up a couple of nails it could take hours to flatten the tire.

Not nails.... said they were punctured. Given the amount of Sanford & Sons that are on Rossville Blvd everyday between the junkyards and scales, I'd say a little piece of sharp debris fell off of one of those junk trucks. I can imagine something getting wedged in the train tracks pretty easily and would be hidden.

Obama's failed road debris policies are to blame.

I see Limited Intercourse is still here trolling around.
somewhere b/t S. Seminole Dr. & Pineville Rd. using the manufacturers rd. cut through (w/ a quick stop @ Riverside Bev) somehow my front & back passenger side tires were flat.
the tire joint said a hole in each one w/ no nail, no tack, no nothing.
this is as bizarre as anything I've ever heard of around here.

In today's news, some of the victims say they believe the tire store is responsible in an attempt to drum up business.

As THE representative for the industry standard for such analysis, I accept your assessment; at least SOMETHING good came from all this.

An investigatory search warrant was served at a local tire and wheel retailer, and evidentiary items of interest were recovered.
More on this soon
