I have some venison that I'd like to have made up as jerky. Anyone interested in making into such for 1/2 the amount?
(For those I've just confused, myself included: I give you 10 pounds of venison and you give me 5 pounds of jerky back and keep the other 5 pounds for yourself.)
I actually have a little more than the amount listed.

Ten pounds of venison will not yield ten pounds of jerky. Still, that is a very reasonable deal for both parties. DaWorm might be able to hook you up with someone.

Yeah, I'm clear on the "weight" differential----I was just trying to make the "exchange rate" clearer.

Well if you got time and inkling - you can do it in the oven. Marinade and cook at about 140 deg with the door open. Does take a loooooooong time. Or if you have a smoker can do it in there.

Heck, I don't have the "make jerky" going for me, but if you just wanted someone to take some venison off your hands I'd gladly volunteer.
