I am a 55 yr old married male and I would like to make friends with people who are interested in sharing and learning computer stuff. I am not selling anything and not interested in monkey business. I just find it easier to learn stuff with help from other. I do a bit of data recovery and have other computer skills, right now I am trying to learn about linux. If your interested in networking localy please respond.

Nobody here knows anything about computers, nor would they be disposed to reveal that knowledge if it did, in fact, exist. Monkeys are specifically protected by the Animal Rights Act of 1984 and other applicable laws, and it is prohibited to refuse to do business with them. You may not interfere with their flying patterns other than to avoid their flying scat. ;D (Just kidding; welcome Charles).

(Oh... That sounds bad)
We really are a very friendly group. Just a little odd.

If you want to learn Linux, you'll have to trade in that sheep for a penguin. It's a Linux rule.

do you know about the chug-a-lug group? Heh, I named that group. Never was an official member but I was having lunch with a couple of the founders when one of them said he'd like for it to be called CHUGALUG but no one could figure out what that would be an acronym for. I chimed in with Chattanooga Unix, Gnu and Linux User's Group. That got me a Tux hat along with a couple of Tux shirts.

I don't know anything about flying monkeys except in OZ, and I am not a Geek... I just like to play around with a lots of sofware and learn new tricks now and again. I thought I'd take Linux on just to be anto Windows.

You live in a beautiful place. My legs are aching to go hiking...not down any sheer bluffs, however. Maybe sometime this summer, we could have a notta hike?
