Does anyone know of a reliable and reasonably priced motorcycle mechanic?
There is some minor but fairly technical work I need and while I've always worked on my own vehicles this delves into some new territory for me and I'd rather have someone with experience to do the job (I also don't have an appropriate workspace...)
Unfortunately my experiences with the Honda shop on 58 have been disappointing and expensive and honestly as a rule I don't trust garages anyway so I'm looking for some personal recommendations.
It is an 84 Honda Shadow and I'm looking for some carb work including a rejetting.
Thanks.

Years ago Jamup was great for stuff like this. I'm not sure how active he is in the garage anymore or what his current techs are like, though. Jamups is on Dayton Blvd. just south of 153.

Dittos to what Justin said.
Jamup's mainstay mechanic, Les, was always highly recommended by people who had dealt with him throough the years and who drove all types of motorcycles. Right now, Les is the head mechanic at the Triumph dealership which bought Jammer out & then moved to Dodds Avenue near Rossville Blvd.

Jamup's is still open on Dayton Blvd. If Jamup sold it he has taken it back.

Hey guys. I need to interview people for a mechanic job. I want to get into motorcycle mechanics as one but I need someone to interview. They have to be certified too and do it for a living. Anyone out there I can ask some questions? Thanks! motorcycle mechanics

Tom Streetall in Cleveland is an OUTSTANDING motorcycle mechanic. His shop is right off Dalton Pike almost to the GA line.

Joe Breedlove was one of the best in the business (ask Jamup), but, last I heard he was "retired" and operating a 'dozer somewhere. His brother, Eddie, once laid a Hog down on its side, removed the transmission cover, replaced a gear, put the cover back on, and rode off. Never spilt a drop of oil Gwin Skiles was pretty good, too.
