My 24 year old son is looking for work. For the last year he has been deployed with the TNANG 1-181 in Iraq. Now that he's back he's looking for employment or just work. He's a hard working young, reliable young man who isn't afraid of manual labor. He plans to attend school this winter semester so he's looking for temporary jobs or jobs that are adaptable to the schedule of a student.
PM me if you know of anything. He doesn't look at any work being beneath him as long as the pay is fair.

My brother says that Norfolk/Southern Railway is hiring at both Chattanooga and Knoxville yards. Their application process begins online. Just google Norfolk-Southern railway. Job openings will be listed there.

High school. He's also had some army training. His plans are to get back into school this winter semester but he needs work to get him through until then.

He should be a good candidate for a railroad job, then. They'll train him in whatever position.

I wish I could help. I'm always game to help a serviceman but without a college degree our place is a closed shop. I'll keep an ear to the ground though. Does he want to stay in the Atlanta area?

He lives in Chattanooga and wants to die and be buried there. We moved down here about a week after he turned eighteen. He refused to move with us and proceeded to show that he could live on his own. He's turned to us a time or two for a little help but those times have been rare. That's why his not being able to find work after coming back from Iraq has been so hard on him.

I heard that NA Industries off of Amnicola is hiring. I don't know any more about it than that.

LESCO or Lee Smith Trucking was looking for drivers a short time ago. They will train and as your skill level rises, your pay quickly follows. Good money within 6 months.
