When we set up ProBoard for this forum, one of the "features" we thought would be fun was the karma thing. However, some people have taken this WAY too seriously. You know who you are - and yes, you need to learn to relax. Folks, this is a message forum. It's supposed to be a place to come and have fun, argue a bit, talk about things that interest you, see what's happening in town, and so forth. It is NOT supposed to be a place to stress and anger. I floated a suggestion to link karma to banning and after the many responses, decided it was not a good idea. Which just goes to prove that this is not a "everyone agree with Gary or get banned" forum.  But seriously, stop taking karma so seriously. It's not going to win you any prizes, nor cause you to suffer any punishment. |

A lot of people take message forums FAR too seriously. That's what Rick's website is for. They are so stupid over there, they think I'm one of Gary's geek convention buddies. And they sure do spend a LOT of time talking about him and this forum. I think there are some serious repressed homosexual longings amongst the Nooganites.

It's probably because the majority of them got booted from here and are still pissed about it. I think it is hilarious! They pretend they hate it so bad over here but can't quit talking about it. I never post over there but I always lurk over there after someone gets canned here to see if it starts all over again... Just like clockwork! LOL |

The difference between the 2 forums is here you can carry on a friendly converstaion and over ther you get blasted no matter that you say.
