The recent Virginia Tech massacre has once again raised the debate in this country of individual rights versus society rights. To me society rights are a group of individuals who have the same rights as one lone individual. One of those individual rights that society has is the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It was very disturbing to see the Virginia Tech killer’s picture on the front page of our local newspaper and his own self-made video on national TV. I would like to see Congress propose a ban from getting the killer’s name, picture, or writings on any public media. The picture and video was exactly what the killer wanted. This was part of his agenda to be famous and a part of history. In his video he even alluded to the shooters of the Columbine massacre as if they were his mentors. These killers are mean, delusional individuals who feed on one another. The killer at Virginia Tech was obviously a very demented individual and to show his video just adds fuel to the fire of others in our society just like him. www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_106230.asp

We can't show the video of the killer because it is bad for us, and will cause others to act out as well.
We can't show the violent video because it is bad for us, and will cause others to act out as well.
We can't show the sexual video because it is bad for us, and will cause others to act out as well.
We can't show the anti-government video because it is bad for us, and will cause others to act out as well.

Better add to that list :
"showed the killer calling a basketball player a 'nappy-headed ho.'"
Priorities.
