The Duke false rape case -- what lessons can be extracted from this fiasco?
Any time a promiscuous Black female claims she has been gang raped by White boys, she's universally presumed to be automatically lying until it can be proved 100% to the contrary.
Any time a White Democrat is behind in a close election & chooses to play a calculated race card in order to whip up hysteria in the Black community & gain the Black vote in the process, it will be much harder to get away with it thanks to the Nifong affair.
Any time Affimative Action hired Black college faculty members claim to speak with authority about White attitudes in general & White people accused of race-based crime like the Duke 88 did without knowledge or thought, their immediate resignations should be demanded by whatever college or university happens to be paying their bloated salaries.

In a situation like this, Nifong should be required to stand in the same room with all those lacrosse players and acknowledge what he did, what his motive was, and all the rationalizations he dreamed up at the time. And he shouldn't be allowed to sit down, or leave the room, until every one of those guys has heard enough and leaves first. I guess in fairness, they should have to leave their lacross sticks outside the door, but that's all I'd give him.

this country has it's problems for sure..... many which are discussed here....but... it's refreshing to realize that even those in power often have to face justice also. Think how many governments have Nifongs who are never questioned.

Nifong may go to prison. It isn't over.
And Duke can get back to status quo: affluent kids violating code to get exploited women to take their clothes off when they could get as much hookup as they wanted from rich and attractive Duke coeds.

I doubt that willingly "exploited womyn" like the lying Black B!tch will be able to make $300/hour (minimum) from Dukies ever again after the B!tch worked her black magic on the "White skin privleged" innocents. I hope she & her spawn all starve to death now that she's never employable for the rest of her miserable & hopefully very short life....

Kordax thundered: I hope she & her spawn all starve to death now that she's never employable for the rest of her miserable & hopefully very short life.... It sounds like you would also like her body to be buried at the crossroads with a wooden stake through her heart. There is blame enough here for everybody, prosecutor, "victim," witnesses and cheerleaders with political agendas. But clearly, Nifong acted completely outside any standards of professional ethics. As LT says, Nifong may yet get up close and personal with some of the folks he has sent to jail over the years. Has anyone read of expressions of regret from Jesse, Sharpton and others over the injustice to the lacrosse players? *The preceding question was...rhetorical*

Marvell, I trust you're "marvelling" at my self-restraint with these posts -- nothing conceivable is too miserable, too depraved, & too horrible including creative Islamo-fascist justice for this B!tch!

He may go to jail, but not with the people he sent. He'll go to a different jail. One with clean linens and conjugal visits. Hey, maybe he can call his favorite stripper to come over for some sugar time!

Another lesson to be learned: If you engage in behavior where you drink and hire strippers - black or white, then don't be surprised at the consequences.

This calls for government regulation!! Misogyny is not illegal. False report of rape is. But underreporting, not false reporting, poses the greater risk to families and communities.

Legal Tender pointed out: ...underreporting, not false reporting, poses the greater risk to families and communities Absolutely true. Underreporting, out of fear of the process of publicity (in spite of rules of anonymity) and attack by defense attorneys, creates silent victims whose suffering affects their families. Not only has a crime gone unpunished, but the victim is doubly injured, lacking even the catharsis of support.

The problem with this is that he still will not admit that nothing happened. He is so convinced in his mind that there must have been something. He is right something did happen a bunch of drunken frat boys had a party with strippers. There was probably under age drinking and some drugs going around. Not to mention unprotected sex.

The trials and tribulations of drunken frat boys concerns me not, despite the professed (by them) that this will be a lifetime stigma against them. I rather tend to believe that it may now help them more than hurt them, as they are now seen as "victims". What concerns me is that it seems Kordax believes that this female somehow coerced or bullshitted a District Attorney into accepting it as fact she had been raped. More likely the DA picked this up as his vehicle to win the election and ran with it as soon as the "rape" had been reported, instead of telling the female in question to go home and sleep it off. I find him much more at fault than her. DA's are supposed to have good sense, it's not a requirement for strippers.

They got shafted (unprotected), but they won't have a 'lifelong stigma' over it... That there are 'civil lawyer words.'

Duke paid up, the DA had his day in court. Now he'll pay up!
