Hey, anybody notice that cable channel 60 on Comcast Cable is not available and is not even listed on the channel 82 TVGN program listing? What's up with that?

Yeah, I must have missed the memo as well. I looked on the Comcast site and found it at ch. 185. This has been a trend in the past couple of years, as channels are moved up higher on the list. I think it has something to do with digital and HD, but I am not in the loop on the details.
The listing in the paper, of course, is compiled and distributed long before it is printed in the paper, so it is often way behind.

They also moved "ION" and the Cartoon Network [damn them].

Call it competition. Comcrap is moving channels around to free up bandwidth on their narrow pipeline so they can compete with ATT and EPB. They are trying to squeeze more and more on the same old tiny pipe.
I think its funny that for years and years and years if you needed to swap a box or see a Comcrap Rep in person you had to drive out to their shithold ghetto office with the bulletproof glass off of Hwy153.
Now, with competition coming, lo and behold, they are actually opening other offices around town.
Amazing what competition can do.

Yep. My boys are still pissed about 'loosing' the History Channel. Now Cartoon Network is gone. They are both screaming "When are we CHANGING?"
(Yes, I know where History channel is supposed to be... but it's not there on my TV. All we get is "Digital signal is weak" - or some such crap.)

Scarlett, all you had to do is get a converter box and that will solve it.

More like cough up the dough. The cheapest package is bare bones. The next tier is the channels under 100. Channels above that cost more. I've been watching what channels they are moving above 100, like Cartoon just the other night. If Gristle & Little Gristle want their Cartoon Network it's going to cost the Scarlett Clan more $$$. Or it's all part of an agenda - if you pay to get Cartoon Network then you have to take LOGO too!

Uuuuuggghhh! That's what I figured. When will EPB have their system up and running? We threw in the towel with Comcast TV but kept their internet service. I hope EPB gives them a run for their money.

Uuuuuggghhh! That's what I figured. When will EPB have their system up and running? 1 step closer as of 5/13. The TN Appeals Court upheld epb vs comcast in a decison. " Appeals Court Upholds EPB In Lawsuit By Comcast " chattanogan.com www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_151121.asp

I can't wait...my main problem is the cost. It's just way too much. If EPB is cheaper than Comcast and I can get the Disney Channel for the Diva, then I'll be much happier!
