I watched "Blades of Glory" with my teenagers and we all laughed so hard we cried. It's a stupid, mindless, totally hilarious movie-a perfect end to a crappy week

Just got back from Rob Zombie's Halloween. *Yawn* Can we say Hollow Mockery? Rape of a classic? Heartless waste of money? We got in free and wanted our money back.
2 hours of watching titties bounce, women screaming and Micheal dragging bodies around. Big whoop.

Obviously, her priorities differ from others. ___ www.beyondhollywood.com/posterx/transformers-megan-fox-070518-1.jpgWhat Stray said. Talk about 'Special Effects', *Whoa*. ___ I started my first job in a movie theater. Five years, high school into college. I watch movies a -lot-. Odd that I never post here. I concur with last nights viewing of 'Blades of Glory'. Will Ferrell is the second best comedian of this generation, hands-down. Tonights event was the Luke Wilson/Kate Bekinsdale release 'Vacancy. It was rented purely for the latter co-star, and despite the former one. My disappointment was as resounding as the loss of the Raiders to Tampa Bay in Superbowl XXXVII. Formulaic horseshit, despite the presence of the Fanboy Favorite Bekinsdale... Perhaps it was the loose clothing. Who knows. ___ Next up? Tight Teen Asses 6. (AMAZING how fast they can put out a sequel these days!)

LS! on the source of his disappointment with La Beckinsale: Perhaps it was the loose clothing. Understand completely. In tight black leathers, or nothing at all—satisfactory. Loose clothing—shameful waste of attributes.

Meh...latest movie we bought was Pan's Labyrinth.Cyco had bought it and brought it home and it looked interesting enough on the box but once I had it going for the kids I realised it had subtitles-now I know there are people out there who really enjoy movies with subtitles but jesus I seriously do not want to have to read the subtitles so I know wtf the people are saying while still trying to keep an eye on what's happening in the movie at the same time.I totally miss things with movies that way. Yes I watched it-the kids well Raine and Uncas left and Ares for awhile was rather interested in reading the damned subtitles out loud in various voices that he had assigned each character Oh yeah that definitely made the movie sooo much better As for movies caught on cable/tv etc Saw was on the other night-still love that movie.

Crack? Maybe. But his Deadpan makes most others Deadpan his 'bitch'. And I -respect- the ability to do Deadpan comedy...for I can markedly NOT do so myself.
No shame.

Ferril has had the same basic character in every movie I've seen him in since Old School. It's like John Cusack. It gets old, quick.

Courtesy of the grandchildren, saw a DVD of Major Payne this weekend, when we kept the children overnight. Other than some clever lines and several really funny bits—Major Payne taking direct action against a "monster in my closet" for a young ROTC cadet—I just barely tolerated the movie. The plot was predictable, "Tough cookie softens under influence of children and hot teacher."
I am only familiar with Damon Wayans from the TV show "In Living Color." That show cracked me up, ah-lot, and some of that flavor remains in this movie.
But what is with Wayans's voice? He sounds like Buckwheat after snorting too much helium. Fingernails on my personal blackboard, for sure.
Not even for the grandchildren will I watch this one again.

Last movie I saw was Halloween, and I pretty much agree with this. Although, without giving any away, I thought that first kill was kinda intense the first time seeing it.

A History of Violence.
Excellent cast. Gory, but not a fraction as bad as Sin City.
And with regard to Will Ferrell, if you've seen Elf, it's clear he has no fear of looking utterly ridiculous. A quality too many comedians outgrow too soon in their careers, with Steve Martin & Robin Williams being prime examples.

Resident Evil: Extinction - nothing wrong with zombie killing. How was it? I watched Frailty this morning (I'd taped it last week and not gotten round to watching yet ) and meh...it was ok.Nothing I'd buy the dvd of to watch and rewatch or anything but it was alright. Watched some other movie that I'd taped off scifi last weekend too but it sucked so bad I can't even remember it's name only that it was stupid as hell.

"How was it?" Zombie killing. Pretty much what you expect. Nice ending.

"How was it?" Zombie killing. Pretty much what you expect. Nice ending. Heh...true but zombies/zombie killing doesn't say whether or not the movie was good-I've seen plenty of zombie movies that were horrible and plenty that were fantastic. Recently watched Wrong Turn-not terribly impressed -shrug-

The Plague-based on something by Clive Barker...meh somehow I expected more The Wraiths of Roanoake-a sci fi channel movie -shrug- nothing spectacular at all from the story line to the gore it wasn't impressive. Bought 28 Days Later yesterday and will watch it either tonight or tomorrow morning.

28 Days Later-it was ok-once I started up the movie I realised midway that I think I have the movie it's a sequel to somewhere around the house.Had some decent gore points in it and the storyline kept me interested through the whole thing -shrug- had an interesting dream that night too

The Butterfly Effect
Lots of holes in the plot, but so sad. Will go on my next "Movie List."
If you want a one-line summary of what it's about, take "It's a Wonderful Life" and turn the central premise on its head.
