Right up until the switch over on Saturday, we had News Channel 9 fine, both 9.1 and 9.2. All digital'd up. We even could even get their analogue station.
Then, come Saturday morning, it vanished. We've rescanned ad infiniteum moved the ariel around, pointed it at Signal mountain and everything. No luck.
We're in Fort O, and can get 3.1, 3.2, 12.1, the 25s, the CW, WTCI an the foxes. Even, on occasion, the 18s, but no NC9.
Anyone experiencing this problem. Or have a solution.

Bigger antenna, maybe an amp? Check here for more tips. (You only need to put in a zip code, then pick a spot on the map, you don't have to give your name and phone number.)

Its all rather odd. I mean, we had it before. We should still be able to get it after the signal is made *stronger*.
Undeterred, we went to NC9 yesterday, and after running through the idiots checklist, the receptionist told us that the FCC is having a little trouble with channels 7-10 in the Fort O area, and to call them.
Which I may do.
I can't go too much longer missing Calvin and Co.

Not really, as they may have switched transmitters or frequencies. Many stations were using temporary frequencies until the final switch.

The web page you sent me too, put 9.1 at exactly the same antenna type as all the other locals.
I called the FCC, and they were near to completely useless. However, on the FCC there is a hint that suggests that something called "double re-scanning" is sometimes helpful.
And it worked. I now know about the Dalton Bear.
It seems that the TV was still trying to store old information for NC9, and needed to be completely reset.
Thanks for your help though worm. I think I may have been a bit short with you before, and that was just my fusration shining through. You were genuinely helpful!

Not a problem, and if you were short, I didn't notice. I know all too well what the frustration is like. I've been dealing with Comcast and recording QAM channels on my computer (and if that's greek to you, consider yourself fortunate).
