I finally went to see "Star Trek" (which sucked) this weekend. It's been out a while and the previews are old. I was shocked to see a woman getting felt up by two different guys in the "Land of the Lost" preview. At first I was startled. When the preview ended with a warning about tobacco use being shown in the movie, I was angry. What if she had decided to take her shirt off? That wouldn't have made the preview and might have changed the rating. But two guys can reach over and grab her boobs? Was this not protested when it was first shown?

Note to self: Never rely on spastikcomma for movie opinions... Obviously our tastes differ.

I don't generally like previews anyway - they appeal to the lowest common denominator, audience-wise. But I certainly get your point, spastikcomma -- aren't trailers supposed to be approved "for all audiences?"
Every time my H and I sit down to watch a DVD, we let the previews play and at least once, one of us will say "People actually pay money to watch that crap?"
Ah, Hollywood...
