REMINDER: If anyone has one of those pavilion tent things, please bring it. See everyone this afternoon. It's in the trunk. It is covered with salt spray but it ought to work. It is small, though. 10x10.

I wish I could be there. Someone toss a cool adult beverage back in my honor ;D. (Or dishonor, depending on the tosser-backer!)

I wish I could be there.
Yeah, and I wish there wasn't so much kryptonite scattered around compromising my super powers...
Not coming to Shot's BIG-TIME event? Whata wus ....

Hope you are all enjoying your time there. Work, kid's work, and yard work all interfered with my appearance. I couldn't make it there either.

I know I enjoyed it. I'd have hung around the shooters to chat longer, but since I was officially done with what little shooting I could do on the twin of one of my own and it was apparent the fun would go on for quite a while longer, I headed out.
Another function to attend tonight anyway.
Nice meeting some folk I didn't know before and seeing old friends.

A very nice time! All the children were cute and animals well behaved. Shot outdid himself with the grilling. One of the best times ever!!

Yes, it was a lot of fun, but Goomba, next year, find somebody else to hold your watermelons for you, OK?
Who WAS that female type first-time (?) shooter that put us to shame over on the left side?
Oleg, now I have weapon envy.
Longshot did a great job of providing directions to the place. I found it with no problems. On the other hand, he didn't give me any directions to get back home, and now I'm stuck someplace in Kentucky. Sheesh.
Oh, and Bob? I checked, and your name has only ONE "o" in it. Sorry I printed your name upside down on the label. Heh, heh, heh.
'Twas good to see the ponders and on and on. Thanks Longshot, family, Gary, Star and more. A Very Good Day.

A forumite spoke to someone about him.. Apparently, the dog's name is Rufus and he belongs to a postal worker who lives close by...

Didn't he show up after the shooting started?
Dog hears shots fired. Which means: There's a bunch of people at Pan Gap having a gathering. Which means...FOOD!
Thank you, Dr. Pavlov.

A great time was had by all, I believe, especially by Babs and me. Lots of folks contributed, led by the God of the Smoking Fire, Longshot! [ Saint ].
Many thanks to all who helped set up and take down, it was wonderful to see so many folks.

For those that were wondering, around 70 people attended between the early, middle and late arrivals.
Special thanks go out to Longshot for grilling services, Kordax for the kayaks, Goomba for being Rangemaster, Dave Fihn for bringing the BIG gun, Sandy for the awesome ShotFEst cookies, and everyone who came out and made this a fantastic day.
Also, there was a prize winner for the Thong Contest, but if you missed it, too bad. (evil grin)
There are a number of photos already posted up over in the Photo Gallery category.

Just some FYI I have a friend who lives down on kelly's ferry road. They were afraid to go outside. Thought it was a police shoot out going on.
