Nice.
Now where can we find some "Job Descriptions" so that we can make some of these people actually accountable for their paycheck.

It surprises me that the Chief of Hamilton County EMS makes much, much less ($67,696.48) than the other department heads.
After scrolling down to the HCDE section, it is no surprise that our ineffective local education system is bankrupting us.

They're just running it like a business, with the superintendant as head CEO....

Maybe if you're a judge, but their salaries in my field are low. I know I would not want to take a pay cut just to get on that list and be called "overpaid" by burger flippers.

In the spirit of "you get what you pay for:"
1) We have exceptional government workers providing excellent services for everyone throughout the region based on the pay rates only.
And
2) If we want even better government, why not give everyone who currently has a government job & every new hire very large salary increases? The more we (taxpayers) pay, we'll all benefit from higher quality personnel & better, highly efficient services from all government agencies....

See? It's the Enron Effect! It works for corporate CEO's, why not Government?

That is the kind of reasoning that got us the execs at AIG & the other places that made the big bucks pillaging their own companies. Thanks Kordax, but we don't need our local government following the strategies of the modern Robber Barons. Result based salaries don't seem to be in play here.

It's because Ken is a genuine class act, and has been ever since the days of the old CFD ambulance squad! You could get the Chevys with the 454's up on two wheels in the curves!

And, on a lighter note, everyone should print a copy of this list, and wave it in the faces of campaigning politicians next year when they glad-hand you at the polls on election day.
"Next Fall, Fire 'em ALL! Re-Elect NOBODY!"

I'd like to see these arranged by function. I have no idea from the job titles on some of these positions what they do or what field they work in. I'd also like to know what all the "deputy" administrators do.
