im not sure if this has been posted before, but some of us know what others here in the CMFs do for a living, so i thought it would be a good thread for those who wish to post what line of work they do for a living.
im currently looking for work, have been a fast food assistant manager and an auto service tech in the past. currently getting my affairs together to attend CDL training school to drive commercially.

Burner technician. Which involves electrical, electronic, chemical, and mechanical skills. I also do a touch of what Justin does only without the retirement part.

Applications Engineer is what it says on the org chart. Its a fancy way of saying Jack of All Trades. I write embedded software and help with electronic and sometimes mechanical design (those mostly as verification that the design is suitable, not as an actual designer). I also design communication protocols, write technical documentation, system specifications, and handle safety testing submissions. I also write PC software, build installation files, write help files and help with installation of hardware and software. Occasionally I even do customer service type functions.
I don't do sales.

News Editor for The Pulse newspaper and afternoon news anchor for 95.3 Pulse News (among the many other things one ends up doing at a radio group).
I also have a number of freelance gigs involving web development and suchlike.
But I really wanted to be a balloon animal maker. (sigh)
