> there are a lot of us insurance 'hos here...
which superbly demonstrates that spreading the agony does not dilute the pain, eh?

Driver, artist, preacher, photographer, writer, editor, courier, manager, radio announcer... Probably missed a few.
Done it all, and I'll do whichever pays the bills the best while letting me enjoy life.
My wife's an insurance ho and she's made a career of it. Sometimes I make more than she does.

I think the Monkee's Mom invented White-Out....
Been in the insurance biz for 14 years, longer than I worked as a "real nurse" (as my kids say). And now I work at home in my jammies, so I guess that 'ho label fits...

Bob- I started making a list, but decided to keep it simple. This is my favorite job! Being a mom is so rewarding. However, to list a few of my other favorites; I loved being a PI in both Miami and LA. Sales and marketing for a cosmetic manufacturer and representing Maybelline doing road shows was a blast when I was single. I got to travel all over the country with very generous expense accts. Setting up embroidery companies and working with designers for Body Glove, Bill-a-bong, Rusty, Gotcha, North Face etc when they were first starting out was so much fun. Being a landlord and being involved in contract negotiations isn't the most fun, but...$$$ TMI??? --- I just couldn't decide where to start or stop and I didn't want to write a book.

Currently I sit around and talk for a living and tens of thousands of people tune in to the radio station in anticipation of my next word. What? They aren't waiting in breathless anticipation of every wonderful syllable of wit from my ever so sexy voice? Well damn... then lets just say I work in radio.
If I told you what I used to do I would have to kill you.

23 years in the dental field, I left four years ago to pursue my dream of owning my own bakery. LOVE it!! what an irony! you spent all those years caring for teeth and scolding people about the sweets, now you baking and selling them hahahha i say if it pays the bills, then carry on.

Legal Secretary...worked in TV for almost 14 years before changing careers in 2000...one of the best decisions I ever made. If I hadn't left, I'd have no job now since switching positions have pretty much fallen prey to automation...

For 16 years, I worked as an assistant librarian. Twelve years of that was at the medical library at ECU. For the next ten years, I managed a computer software help desk at a former telecommunications company. Once more I was told I had to lay someone off, so I picked me, sold my home, moved to Chattanooga, and got married a couple weeks later. Now, I'm retired! I tried volunteering at the public library, but they did not seem to need my help...
