I've been noticing Volkswagons. I don't know if there are more of them or if maybe I'm paying more attention and seeing them. Anyone else noticing this?

The Smiths of Village VW say they're rolling off the lot faster than the trucks can bring them. The new TDI diesel Jetta gets 41mpg.

Do they still shed parts & pieces while driving down the road at a faster pace than pre-1990 Harleys?

I still think people who live in the area ought to get a discount on a new one.

I would like to buy a diesel/electric hybrid station wagon or minivan. It would also be a plug in to the electricity at work or home. This makes it a non polluting car pulling into the Walden club and it would be partly powered by EPB/TVA nuclear power. 60 to 75 MPG ?
