Nice full page ad made up to look like a real article (the word 'advertisement' is actually printed in very small print at the top of the page) claiming that current financial crises is caused by democrats and socialism. The ad is put out by U.S. Citizens Association, your friendly right wing astroturf organization. And oh yeah, it has ties to those right wing groups that support theocracy and alternative American history. Nice. Makes you proud.

Well, the left gets the entire rest of the paper. Why are you complaining about one page?

El Gusano said: Well, the left gets the entire rest of the paper. Considering where you fall in the political spectrum, Gus, I think those proportions are just about right. Most people are to the left of you - very. G,D & R

Makes me wonder if Stalin ever took an asprin for a headache; if he did, based on the "logic" contained in the origin post, I guess that means that all asprin users must be Stalinists ....

I'd be willing to bet if the opposite side wanted to PAY for an entire page ad the TFP would gladly oblige them.

The opposite side does not have to PAY. Didn't you know liberals control the news?

Gus, get a copy of Tom Kratman's "A Desert Called Peace". You'll find an author that might just be a tad to the right of even you. It's an SF novel that basically describes the second gulf war, but set on a planet colonized by Earth 500 years in the future, and how that war should have been ran (by ersatz Panamanian mercenaries, no less). His depiction of the media, and how they should be dealt with, will bring a tear to your eye.

Fox News? There have to be a few moderates in the mix.

Fox news is every bit as "balanced" as the other newscasts. It leans right while the others lean left. Why that is such a thorn in the liberals' sides is beyond me.

I love Fox News. More comedy value than Stewart and Colbert combined.

Just because Fox isn't as far left as the other networks doesn't mean that it's a right wing news agency or even near the middle. To some it is a far left outfit that is ever bit a part of the liberal press as the rest of them.
